Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about finding a home, applying and living in one of our communities.
How Do I See What Is Available?
The Availability page lists every home that is open right now across our communities, with rent, bedrooms, bathrooms, square feet and the move-in date. You can search by community, city or zip code, and filter by bedrooms, rent and pets. Each community page also shows its own current homes.
How Do I Apply?
Open any listing on a community page or the Availability page and choose Apply. The application opens in our leasing system.
How Do I Contact Someone About a Home?
Call the community's leasing line (shown on its page where there is one), or email its property manager. Every community page lists its property manager's name, phone and email.
Do You Allow Pets?
Pet rules vary by community and sometimes by home, and each listing shows its pet policy. Assistance animals, including service animals and emotional support animals, are not pets. Pet rules, fees, and size or breed limits do not apply to them.
How Do I Pay Rent or Send a Maintenance Request?
Use the resident portal. You can pay rent, set up automatic payments, review your payment history and submit maintenance requests there at any hour. If this is your first time, use the first-time sign-up link on the Residents page with the email address you gave us when you signed your lease.
Is Student Housing Priced per Bedroom?
In many of our student communities, yes. The rent shown on a listing can be per bedroom, and each listing explains what the rent covers.
Where Are Your Communities?
We manage 40 communities. Most are in Southern California, in Riverside, Redlands, Yucaipa, Fontana, Hemet, San Jacinto, Spring Valley, Van Nuys, North Hills and Canoga Park. Our student communities are in Riverside and Tucson, Arizona.
Who Runs These Communities?
Doug Wetton Properties, Inc. manages them (California DRE license 01525491).
What If I Need a Reasonable Accommodation?
Tell your property manager or call 949-759-0220. We will consider reasonable requests for changes to our rules, policies or services and reasonable modifications to a home or common area. See our Fair Housing and Accessibility pages for more.
Still have a question? Find your community's property manager in the directory, or call 949-759-0220.
